Exporting
Can you export Discord messages?
Yes. DiscordSuite exports the messages in any Discord channel, thread, DM or group DM you can open in Chrome, to HTML, Excel, CSV, JSON or TXT.
Can you export Discord DMs?
Yes. Open the DM in Discord in Chrome and export it. The file includes both sides of the conversation.
Can I export a whole Discord server?
With Chat Exporter (or All tools), you can select several channels and threads from a server and export them in one run.
Can I export Discord messages to Excel?
Yes. Choose Excel (XLSX) or CSV. Each message is one row with 11 columns.
How far back can DiscordSuite export?
As far back as the channel's history goes, as long as your account can see those messages. The free plan has a message limit per export; Chat Exporter (or All tools) has no limit.
How long does an export take?
It depends on the size of the chat. Discord returns 100 messages per request and limits how fast apps can ask, so large channels take longer; the progress bar shows the count as it goes, and you can cancel any export mid-way.
Does DiscordSuite export images and attachments?
Every format includes attachment links. With Chat Exporter (or All tools), DiscordSuite packs every attachment with the export in one ZIP. Media Downloader (or All tools) downloads only the media.
Can DiscordSuite export deleted messages?
No. It exports only messages that still exist and that your account can see.
Does it work on the Discord app or on mobile?
No. DiscordSuite works with Discord in Chrome on a computer.
What languages is DiscordSuite available in?
English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French and German, picked automatically from your browser.
Privacy and safety
Is DiscordSuite safe to use?
Your Discord login stays in your browser. DiscordSuite uses the Discord session you already have open. It never asks for your password, and your login is never saved or sent anywhere except Discord. Exports are built on your computer. Your messages are never uploaded to us. As with any tool that uses your own account, Discord's Terms of Service apply. Does DiscordSuite need my Discord password?
No. DiscordSuite uses the Discord session you already have open. It never asks for your password, and your login is never saved or sent anywhere except Discord.
What does DiscordSuite's server see?
The extension only sends your license key to our server. If you buy a license, Stripe or PayPal passes us your email so we can send you the key. Card details stay with Stripe or PayPal. We never receive your Discord login, messages or exports. Details are in the privacy policy.
Is using a Discord chat exporter against Discord's Terms of Service?
Draft — pending owner approval (Puerto Rico counsel review recommended). DiscordSuite is not affiliated with Discord. Chat export uses the Discord session already open in Chrome. Automated access to user accounts may violate Discord's Terms, and Discord can restrict or terminate accounts. We do not promise that using DiscordSuite is permitted by Discord or that it is safe for your account. You accept that risk. DiscordSuite runs when you start an export, reads chats you can already open, and follows Discord's rate limits; it does not post, edit or delete messages. That is a description, not a guarantee. Member list export uses your own bot through Discord's official API instead of your account. The full terms are on the terms page.
Does DiscordSuite include analytics or trackers?
No analytics or tracking, in the extension or on the website.

Is DiscordSuite free?
Yes. The free plan exports in all five formats, with a message limit per export and limits on member export and emoji and sticker downloads.
What do paid tools include?
Chat Exporter: unlimited messages, several channels at once, only new messages, and attachments in one ZIP. Media Downloader: media-only export. Member Exporter: unlimited members. Emoji & Sticker Downloader: unlimited emojis and stickers. All tools includes all four.
How do I activate a paid tool?
Activation is instant: your license key is shown on screen right after purchase and emailed to you. Paste it into the DiscordSuite popup and click Activate.
How do I pay?
Pay by card or PayPal. Each tool is billed monthly, quarterly or yearly; the All tools bundle can also be billed every 2 years. Current prices are on the pricing page. Cancel anytime.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Refunds are available for 7 days from purchase, no questions asked. Email [email protected] or use the contact form on the support page. After a refund, the key stops working at the extension's next successful license check, normally within 24 hours while you're online.
Can I use a paid license on more than one computer?
A paid license is personal. Use it on any number of your own computers and browsers; don't share it with other people. Teams of 5 or more: contact us for a team license.
I lost my license key. What do I do?
Use "Resend my key" on the support page with the email you used to pay. If that email has a license, we've sent it.
