Light or dark HTML: force Light or Dark, or choose Auto to follow the reader's system setting. Images, avatars and emoji load from Discord's CDN when you open the file; with Chat Exporter's Download attachments (or All tools), the export and every attachment come in one ZIP and the links open the local files after unzipping.
Need a PDF? DiscordSuite doesn't create PDF files. Open the HTML export in Chrome and choose Print → Save as PDF.
How to use it

Open the channel, thread or DM in Discord in Chrome.

Optional: set From and To dates (both days included) or the first or last N messages.

Frequently asked questions
How do I save a Discord chat as an HTML file?
Open the chat in Discord in Chrome, click DiscordSuite, choose HTML and click Export. You get a single .html file that opens in any browser.
Can I export a Discord chat to Excel?
Yes. Choose Excel (XLSX) for a workbook, or CSV if you prefer a plain spreadsheet file.
Can I export a Discord chat to PDF?
DiscordSuite doesn't create PDF files. Export to HTML, open the file in Chrome, and use Print → Save as PDF.
Can I export a Discord chat in dark mode?
Yes. Set the HTML theme to Dark, Light or Auto before you export. Auto follows the reader's system setting.
