Discord media downloader: save a channel's images, videos and files

What it does

  • Filter by type

    images, videos, audio, other files, or any mix.

  • Filter by extension

    type the endings you want, such as png, jpg, mp4.

  • Skips duplicates

    the same file posted twice is saved once, even when it was uploaded under different names.

  • File list included

    the ZIP has a manifest.csv that lists every file as saved, skipped or failed.

  • Part of a chat or many channels

    set a date range or the first or last N messages, or pick several channels of a server.

Media only can't be combined with Only new messages since last export. When you tick Media only, DiscordSuite switches that option off and greys it out, and does the same for Download attachments. How to use it

    Open the channel, thread or DM in Discord in Chrome.

    Open DiscordSuite and tick Media only.

  3. 3

    Choose media types, and optionally type extensions.

    Optional: set dates or the first or last N messages.

    Click Export and save the ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download only videos or only PNG files?

Yes. Choose Videos as the media type, or type the extensions you want, such as png or mp4.

Does media-only export skip duplicate files?

Yes. A file posted more than once is saved once, even under different names, and the file list marks the skipped copies.

Can I download only the media posted since my last export?

No. Media only can't be combined with Only new messages since last export, so DiscordSuite turns that option off while Media only is ticked. To get recent media, set a date range or choose the last N messages.
