How to download all images from a Discord channel

Yes, with a browser extension. In Discord itself you can only save images one at a time. DiscordSuite's media downloader reads the channel's messages and downloads their attachments from Discord's file servers into one ZIP.

   Install DiscordSuite from the Chrome Web Store. How DiscordSuite works covers setup.

   Activate Media Downloader or All tools: paste your license key under License and click Activate.

   Open discord.com in Chrome and click into the channel, thread or DM.

   Click the DiscordSuite icon and stay on the Messages tab.

   Tick Media only.

   Under Media types, keep Images and untick the rest. To narrow it further, type extensions such as png, jpg.

   Optional: set From and To dates, or choose the first or last N messages.

   Click Export and save the ZIP.

Media only can't be combined with Only new messages since last export. While Media only is ticked, DiscordSuite switches that option off and greys it out. To get only recent images, use the dates or Last N in step 7.

Repeat the steps and choose Videos, Audio or Other instead of Images, or tick several types. Type extensions such as mp4 or pdf to keep only those files.

With Media Downloader plus Chat Exporter's several-channels option (or All tools), turn on Export several channels, tick the channels and threads you want, and run a media-only export. Files posted more than once are saved once, even when they were uploaded under different names.

Use Download attachments instead of Media only. You get the chat export and every attachment in one ZIP, and the HTML file's links open the local copies after you unzip it.
